February 25  th 2021 in Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University at the Faculty of training of foreign citizens, Chair of Philology and Linguistics was held the International scientific and methodical seminar «Innovative pedagogical technologies in the international students’ languages teaching», devoted to the linguistic, social and linguacultural aspects of teaching Russian, Ukrainian and English languages to the foreign students through the computer technologies and Internet-resources usage.

The workshop format represented is a series of the master classes devoted to the informational technologies usage settled at the YouTube channel by reference, – differs essentially from the common conference. The event is aimed at informing the participants about the theoretical aspects of the language education as well as giving the opportunity to share with the last methodical guidelines in area of the foreign language teaching and discuss all the issues presented in a friendly atmosphere.

Lecturers of the Department of Language Training for Foreign Citizens Hanna V. Diadchenko, Maryna S. Kazandzhyieva and Alla V. Rodenko took part in the seminar. They watched the workshop videos on the themes “Usage of the virtual board at the foreign language classes”, “Foreign students’ lexical habits forming through modern mobile applications (Quizlet) usage”, “Interactive work papers creation (on the example of Liveworksheets)” and discussed them. Besides, lecturers prepared the reports on the topics “Problems of the foreign students’ English language distant learning” (Anna V. Diadchenko), “Power Point Presentations usage at the classes of the Ukrainian as a foreign language” (Marina S. Kazandzhyieva, Alla V. Rodenko).
