Every year, the university hosts the competition "Pedagogical innovations of SSU". And this year the teachers of the department did not stand aside and joined the participation in this event.

The author's team of the department (Burnos Ye. Yu., Nabok N. M., Pylypenko-Fritsak N. A., Rodenko A.V.) presented at the discretion of the commission the project "Use of interactive technologies in the process of contact training of foreign students of the Ukrainian language" in the nomination "Contact training". The aim of the project is to popularize and present the effectiveness of using various new interactive technologies in the process of language training of foreign students, the introduction of which contributes to the development of creative abilities of foreigners, activation of their speech activity, encouraging students to communicate in the Ukrainian language in various spheres of public life. The project presents materials of the educational and methodological complex of the discipline "Ukrainian as a foreign language" with the involvement of information and communication, developing, personality-oriented, game technologies and project training technologies, which create conditions for productive learning through constant connection with life, professional activities, and the application of acquired knowledge in practice.

A special feature of the competition work "Using interactive technologies in the process of contact training of foreign students of the Ukrainian language" is real cooperation between foreign students and the author's team, attracting students to the development of the project and creating a video presentation.
