On September 8-9, 2022, an international online conference for scientists affected by the war in Ukraine "Chance for Science" was held. The event was organized by scientists from the German University of Leipzig. The online meeting was moderated by Professor Carmen Bachman. The purpose of this international informational scientific and practical event was to support scientists who migrated due to the war events in Ukraine, as well as those who remained on the territory of Ukraine and continue to work in difficult conditions.

Teachers of the Department of Language Training of Foreign Citizens were participants in this event. For example, Alina V. Chernіakova, associate professor of the department, was the speaker at the section dedicated to the study of European values of international dialogue in the context of integration into the European educational space.
This conference provided an opportunity for students and scientists from Ukraine and Germany, as well as representatives of business and German research institutions, to share research results and build a partner network. At the scientific event, 160 Ukrainian scientists presented their findings from various disciplines. Within the framework of the conference, scientists and educators could exchange opinions and proposals regarding the creation of associations in accordance with the areas of work in the context of integration into the European educational space.
