Anticipating the European future of Ukraine, educational institutions act as powerful agents of change in promoting European values.

In September 2022, teachers of the Department of Language Training of foreign citizens are beginning to implement an international project to promote European values in education. Within the EU Erasmus+ program, the Commission of the European Union this year supported the Jean Monet Module "European values of intercultural dialogue in the field of education: interdisciplinary and inclusive approaches" ("European values of intercultural dialogue in education: interdisciplinary and inclusive approaches" - EUROVALID). The implementation of the Module is scheduled for 2022-2026 years.

The coordinator of the project is the head of the department of language training for foreign citizens Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor O. Sydorenko.

 Members of the project team:

1) А. Lebid, Professor of the Department of PPST, D. in Philosophy. Member of the editorial board of the scientific journal "European Journal of Philosophical Research". Researcher of the international scientific center "International Network Center for Fundamental and Applied Research" (USA). Coordinator of the information direction of the Center for Regional Security Studies of Sumy State University. Expert on the issues of information policy, information security, communication strategies and political management of the Center for Social and Humanitarian Aspects of Regional studies;

2) А. Chernyakova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Deputy Head of the Department of International Grant Activity, trainer, author of the project idea.

Erasmus+ program is a strategic partner in the process of integration of Sumy State University into a single scientific and educational space. This is a program of the European Union, which supports the project of cooperation, partnership, activities and mobility in the field of education, vocational training, youth and sports. Together with more than 150 countries world, Ukraine is one of the partner countries (Program Countries) of the Erasmus+ Program. The partner countries of the Program are 28 EU Member States, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Turkey and Macedonia. The Erasmus+ program includes a wide range of components: Academiс Mobility, Cooperation Projects, Reform Support, Jean Monnet, Youth, Sport.

The EU Erasmus+ program is characterized by cooperation higher education institutions and other institutions around the world that actively promote Ukraine's European integration and have scientists with publications on the topics of European studies, experience of studying the EU for its adaptation in Ukraine. Covers all areas of the economy where it is important to study and research the EU experience for Ukraine.

Module "European values of intercultural dialogue in the field of education: interdisciplinary and inclusive approaches" aims to form sustainable skills of cross-cultural communication of students, which are based on the core values of the European Union. The strategic scientific goal of the Module in the context of the outlined topic of the article is to create European studies content, methodological and organizational principles of curriculum through the introduction of European standards of scientific student research on the topic of implementation of European values in the classes of Ukrainian language, disciplines of the social and humanitarian cycle in Ukraine and the formation of an inclusive research environment. The module covers a set of educational, methodological, scientific and organizational work, involves the use of innovative methods and forms of teaching: interactive lectures, seminars, master classes, seminars based on the implementation of certain tasks, independent work of students.

The project is aimed at implementing one of the key moments of social innovation policy of social cohesion of the EU-intercultural dialogue and social equal inclusion. From its implementation in the educational process social benefits are received by: 1) representatives of educational migrants and minorities who are very different from general society, 2) society as a whole, because multicultural inclusion will contribute to the development of a sustainable civil society, will contribute to the spread of European integration processes.

Tasks of the project:

1) to study the best European practices of forming intercultural dialogue on the basis of tolerance, equality respect and to propose directions for their implementation in the process of social and humanitarian training of students;

2) to develop educational, methodological materials on the basic values of the European Union and their implementation in intercultural dialogue on the basis of interdisciplinarity and inclusion;

3) to promote students' awareness of the content of the basic values of the European Union and their importance for building a sustainable civil society during classroom teaching (three elective courses);

4) to form sustainable skills of social inclusion in the context of cross-cultural communication through non-formal educational activities, including the creation of an educational laboratory, an international summer school, scientific platforms studios and hubs ("Ukr.Lang.Laboratory for foreign students", International Summer School "Gender Equality in a Multicultural Educational Space: Best Practices for Developing Intercultural Tolerance among girls educational migrants, victims of gender-based violence", Educational science platform "EU Cross-Cultural Studies") and involvement of public figures, volunteers, representatives of the state apparatus to interaction;

5) to stimulate research activities of students within the framework of European studios;

6) to introduce innovations in educational programs for specialties that do not directly study EU studies (in fields beyond law, economics and political science) - offer thematic elective courses.

7) to develop the experience of learning effective cross-cultural communication in a multiethnic environment on the basis of the basic values of the European Union and to involve the general public in the project by organizing various events with the participation of international and national experts, including international scientific and practical conferences, round table meetings, webinars, etc.
