On the 8th of November the event «With Ukraine in the Heart» took place, within the framework of the implementation of the Jean Monnet Module of the Erasmus+ international program on the topic «European values of intercultural dialogue in education: interdisciplinary and inclusive approaches» (EUROVALID) and within the framework of the project «National value and patriotic education of the personality in the process of language training in system of international university education under martial law (online format)». Which was organized by the teachers of the Department of Language Training for Foreign Citizens Nataliya Pylypenko-Fritsak and Associate Professor Alina Chernyakova. This event was attended by foreign students-members of the "Descendants of Hippocrates" group and Ukrainian students.

The aim of the event was to integrate the intercultiral ctudents communities at the Faculty and to discuss urgent problems of national and patriotic education in wartime conditions. Due to the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukrainian land, most of the foreign students were forced to leave the city, to leave Ukraine - a country that, according to the students themselves, has become their second home. It was the desire to express their love for Ukraine and support in a terrible hour, unshakable confidence in the victory of our country over the enemy that united the students who joined the event. With great enthusiasm, the students participated in the preparation of the presentation «With Ukraine in the Heart»: they talked about the interesting years of studying at Sumy State University, about the knowledge they gained during language training classes, about the love and respect for the Ukrainian language instilled in them by their teachers, they expressed an unwavering confidence in the victory of the Ukrainian people over the bloody enemy and in a quick meeting with friends and teachers in the walls of the native university.

During the discussion, the students read poems that demonstrate the beauty and melodiousness of the Ukrainian language. The highlight of the lesson was the drawings made by their own hands, in which the students demonstrated their knowledge of the national and state symbols of Ukraine. Summarizing, it should be emphasized the active civic position of foreign students who expressed their position regarding the victory of Ukraine for its identity, independence and democracy.
