On March 30, 2016, was held the Seventh Scientific-practical student conference.

On March 30, 2016, at the Department of Applied Psychology at Sumy State A.S. Makarenko Pedagogical University was held the Seventh Scientific-practical student conference "Ethnic Identity and Interethnic Interaction in the Modern World" dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the specialty "Practical Psychology". Students and teachers of the Department of Language Training for Foreign Citizens made presentations and participated in master classes.

The aim of the master class "Doll-herbalist" was the acquaintance with the history of protective amulets and their meaning in the life of the Ukrainian people. Participants learned how to make amulet dolls and got the ready ones as gifts. However, other master classes also didn’t go unnoticed by the students, who now have unforgettable experience in sand and clay therapy, coaching, etc.

Foreign students in national costumes told about the peculiarities of national customs and traditions, fleshing out their presentation with colorful and informative slides.

Their reports were devoted to ethnic and cultural traditions and universal human values.

All the presentations are published in the collection of scientific works.
