On May 31, 2019, Hanna V. Diadchenko, senior teacher of the Department of Language Training for Foreign Citizens, together with the students of the Medical Institute (group МЦмм-732ан), visited the Sumy Regional Museum of Local Lore.

Foreign students took an excursion «Traditional Ukrainian Housing and Clothes» on regional history and lore. They learned a lot about the Ukrainian national culture and everyday life, including tools, folk clothes, household items, sacred things (icons, spiritual books), etc. Such events are helpful to better understand the Ukrainian national worldview and life realities, adapt more quickly to the new language and cultural environment.
