On April 23-24, 2020 the Third All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “The Scientific Community of Students of the 21st Century” was held in Sumy State University, on the basis of the Department of Language Education for Foreign Citizens.

The Scientific and Practical Student Conference "Scientific Community of Students of the 21st Century" has become a good tradition, which allows young scientists from different countries to realize their creative potential. The event took place online, bringing together students and teachers interested in Ukrainian philology, interethnic tolerance, innovative technologies in the educational space, academic student mobility and the development of international cooperation in higher education in Ukraine.

The purpose of the student conference is to promote and stimulate interest in scientific activities, to develop the image of science, to identify talented, gifted students, to establish contacts between students from different countries and higher education institutions.

The participants of the conference were foreign students from different countries in Europe, Africa and Asia: Turkey, India, Zimbabwe, Jordan, Yemen, Nigeria, Palestine, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Angola, Kenya, Pakistan, Tanzania.

At the conference, international students presented their scientific achievements, demonstrated online presentations, discussed problems of educational and scientific work, introduced the listeners to the culture, customs and traditions of their countries.
