On May 16 – 17, 2019, at the Department of Language and Humanitarian Preparation of Foreigners of the Odessa National University named after. I. Mechnikov All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Theoretical and Practical Problems of Language Training of Foreigners in the Aspect of International Communication” took place.

The teachers of the department (Larysa V. Bidenko, Yuliia O. Klipatska) were active participants of the conference, took part in the plenary and sectional sessions, where they shared their experience in working on the methodology of writing textbooks on Ukrainian as a foreign language, presented the report “Formation of Speech Competence of Foreign Citizens in the Process of Teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language”.
