On May 26-27, 2018, a scientific and practical conference «Topical Issues of Contemporary Performance on Traditional Kobzar Instruments» was held at the Ivan Honchar Museum (Kyiv).

Maryna M. Nabok, Associate Professor, Candidate of Philological Sciences, together with Khaled Abusamra (group LS-331) and Amleh Saeb (LS-230), students from Palestine,prepared a report «Ethnopsychological Peculiarities of the Image of Heroes in the Ukrainian folk dumas and the folklore of the Muslim Peoples (on the example of Palestine and Jordan)».

Organizers and participants of the conference emphasized the relevance, scientific novelty of the report, because «such comparative studies are conducted for the first time, and this corresponds to the modern needs of science and practice in the conditions of intercultural communication» (K.Cheremskyi– the Candidate of Art Studies, organizer of the conference).
