This year on December 9, Hanna V. Diadchenko and Nataliia O. Vorona, teachers of the Department of Language Training for Foreign Citizens, organized and conducted an excursion for foreign students of the Medical Institute to the Sumy Museum of Local History.

Among the students were, primarily, first-year Indian citizens, who visited the museum for the first time. The greatest students’ attention attracted the exposition about the flora and fauna of Sumy region and the exposition «Українська хата» («Ukrainian House»). The students were very interested in Ukrainian national clothes, towels and some ancient household items. The citizens of India became involved in the modern history of Ukraine and the Sumy citizens’ participation in the landmark events of our country; their questions and constant comparisons with Indian historical events were good evidences to this. Foreign students embodied their impressions of the excursion in a kind of photocomposition.
