Foreign students of the Medical Institute of SSU, who study in the Ukrainian language, received a new textbook “We study anatomy in Ukrainian” (part 1) on the Ukrainian language. The author of the textbook is Alla A. Sylka, Associate Professor of our Department.

The textbook is designed to prepare first-year students to understand scientific style texts, increase their vocabulary, master Ukrainian anatomical terminology, in-depth study of certain grammatical topics, and develop coherent speech.

The training materials are combined into 4 major topics relevant to the first-year anatomy program: “Introduction”, “Motion and support system”, “Digestive System”, “Respiratory System”.

The textbook contains many illustrations to help future physicians understand the origins and meanings of many medical terms. Workbooks that supplement the manual allow you to optimize students’ independent work.
