In October of this year the senior lecturer of the department Hanna V. Diadchenko and Indian students of the third year of medical institute visited Sumy Regional Academic Theater of Drama and Musical Comedy named after Mikhail S. Shchepkin.

The program of the visit included a tour of the theater with a further revision of the director's interpretation of Lesya Ukrainka's drama-extravaganza "Forest Song". The tour was conducted by Larisa Apollonova, the main artist of the theater. The foreign students got a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the world of Ukrainian theater: they visited the backstage, visited the small stage, as well as the theater museum.

Musical design and stage embodiment of Lesya Ukrainka's drama deeply touched foreign guests, gave them unforgettable emotions, helped to better understand the peculiarities of the Ukrainian national outlook.
