On October 10, 2019, Hanna V. Diadchenko and Evheniia O. Holovanenko, Lecturers of the Department of Language Training for Foreign Citizens, participated in the XIV International Scientific and Practical Conference "Problems and Prospects of Language Training of Foreign Students" (Kharkiv).

The conference was held at the Faculty of Foreign Citizens Training of Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University. At the plenary session and during the work of the sections, topical problems of educational preparation of foreign citizens were considered. In particular, modern language tendencies, topical problems of adaptation of foreign students to foreign language were discussed. The participants of the conference presented reports on such issues as theoretical and applied aspects of linguistics and methods of teaching Ukrainian / Russian languages as foreign languages; traditional and innovative technologies, algorithms and methods of teaching foreign students in the modern educational process; psychological and pedagogical fundamentals of adaptation and integration of foreign students into the educational space of higher education institutions; intercultural communication in the practice of teaching a non-native language; teaching humanities and specialties in a non-native language, etc.

We would like to thank the conference organizers for hosting the event at a high professional level. Such scientific events enrich the new pedagogical experience and give the opportunity for productive live communication with colleagues.
