On May 16-17, 2019, teachers of the Department of Language Training for Foreign Citizens Maryna S. Kazandzhyeva, Alla V. Rodenko, Nataliia O. Tubol took part in the international scientific-practical conference "Current Issues of Linguistics, Literature Studies and Translation Studies" (Ivano-Frankivsk).

The conference was held at the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. At the plenary session, reports were made by Stepan I. Khorob, Doctor of Philology, Professor, Head of the Department of Ukrainian Literature at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University; Vasyl D. Bialyk, Doctor of Philology, Professor, Head of the Department of Translation Theory and Practice of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University; Valentyna A. Ushchyna, Doctor of Philology, Professor, Head of the Department of English Philology of the Lesya Ukrainka East European National University, Svitlana M. Ivanenko, Doctor of Philology, Professor of the National Pedagogical Drahomanov University.

Within the framework of the section meetings there was a discussion of topical issues of teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language, exchange of experience in implementing innovative learning technologies.
