On February 25, 2018, the 9th student conference “The First Step into Science” was held at the Congress Center of the SSU. Nataliia A. Pylypenko, Olha M. Skvarcha and Hanna V. Diadchenko, lecturers of the Department of Language Training for Foreign Citizens, together with the students of the Medical Institute took part in the event.

Students presented such reports as “Zimbabwe: a Case of More Than Sixteen Official Languages” (Guest Tinofara Mpofu), “Концепт “Боль” и его отражение в русских пословицах и поговорках” (“Concept “Pain” and its Reflection in Russian Proverbs”) (Batbaiar Bolortuiaa), «Вербальные и невербальные формы общения врача с пациентом» (“Verbal and Nonverbal the forms of communication between the doctor and the patient”) (Colo Lidia Adi, Chibuze Merci Asabe).

It is pleasant to note that the first place in Section G «Philology-Communication-Society» took Guest Tinofara Mpofu (group МЦ.м-740ан, scientific director - Hanna V. Diadchenko).
