The Linguistic Center of the Slavic languages continues its work successfully. During the three months of its existence, 26 foreign citizens improved their language (learning individually and in groups of no more than 6-8 people).

Teachers of the Center actively introduce modern teaching methods, which are primarily based on stimulating interest in languages and increasing the motivation of students. Therefore, various creative methods and techniques are used in the classroom (method of inventing, method of random associations, method of hyperbolization, method of “survival”, method of the semantic vision, method of heuristic questions, “brainstorming”, etc.).

As the key to success of learning foreign languages is the constant checking of knowledge, great attention is paid to the formation of the ability to learn, expansion of opportunities for self-organization, self-learning and self-esteem.

To track the level of knowledge, skills and habits of course participants, to determine learning difficulties in time, corrective work is systematically carried out. To test the knowledge of students, teachers select the most diverse methods: oral interview, vocabulary dictation, filling out tables, performing test exercises, performing creative tasks, and much more.

In addition to teaching, the teachers of the Linguistic Center assist in checking and editing any texts in Ukrainian and Russian.

The Center will continue its work in the new year 2018.

We cordially invite all to our Center!
