Foreign students took an active part in the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works in the field "Slavic languages and literature (including Russian language and literature)". All the works submitted for the first round of the competition were the results of serious research activity of students.

After conducting a difficult selection by the commission, the winners of the first round were determined and scientific works of the following students were recommended for participation in the second round of the Competition: Kamola Abdullaeva (supervisor – Yulia O. Klipatska), Alisher Shukurov (supervisor – Tatiana H. Chernyshova), Yaktuk Mary Eline (supervisor – Maryna M. Nabok).

During the second round, the students will present their works: «The history of the formation of women's names in the Russian language» (Kamola Abdullaeva), «The Concept of politeness in Russian and Uzbek language pictures of the world» (Alisher Shukurov), «“Mine –someone’s else” disposal, “beautiful – ugly” in Ukrainian folk dumas, songs and oral poetical creativity of peoples of the world» (Yaktuk Mary Eline).
