On January 30, 2016 a traditional gala evening dedicated to the New Year took place.

On January 30, 2016 at the Preparatory Department of SSU, a traditional gala evening dedicated to the New Year took place. Foreign students, employees of the Department of International Education and teachers of the Department of Language Training for Foreign Citizens participated in this celebration. Father Frost (Ded Moroz) and Snow Maiden (Snegurochka) greeted everyone on the coming holiday, wished health and success in studying.

The students of the Preparatory Department arranged a concert. They recited poems in Russian and Ukrainian, sang songs in Russian and native languages, performed folk dances. All performers received gifts from Father Frost.

Students actively participated in competitions. The celebration was fun and interesting.
