Teachers of Department of language training for foreign citizens Bidenko L. V. and Klipatska Yu.O. for several years have been actively involved in the development of test tasks in Ukrainian as a foreign language.

On 14.11.2020, a seminar-meeting was held at Ukrainian Center for Education Quality Assessment (Kyiv) on reviewing and testing test tasks in Ukrainian as a foreign language in order to pass the certification exam for admission of foreign citizens to higher educational institutions.

Issues related to the analysis of reading test tasks were discussed at the seminar. Teachers created a methodology for evaluating students' reading performance and prepared materials for testing in higher education institutions.

Participants of the seminar will be involved in the work of the State Examination Commission to determine the level of language proficiency of foreign citizens.
