The International  training  "Uniting for Change: Building a Coalition for Gender Equality and Counteraction gender-based violence ” was held in Kyiv on the 26-27-th of  January with the financial support of the Government of Canada  and was  attended by our colleagues Chernyakova Alina and Pilipenko-Fritsak Natalia.

On the 26-27-th of January, 2022, La Strada-Ukraine, with the support of the Government of Canada in the framework of the project "Women's Voice and Leadership - Ukraine" conducted a training "Association for Change: Building a Coalition to Gender Equality and Combating Gender Violence." The project was implemented by the Ukrainian Women's Foundation. Associate professor Alina Chernyakova and lecturer Natalia Pylypenko-Fritsak took part in the training. They passed the preliminary competitive selection and received financial support for the training from the NGO"La Strada-Ukraine".

During the training, participants participated in the discussion of gender equality, prevention and combating hate and gender-based violence, intercultural tolerance, exchanged experiences on working for women and girls, including women and girls of vulnerable groups, educational migrants, implementation human rights standards in all spheres of society and the state, expanded the range of partners, promising coalitions, networking, received methodological literature. According to the results of successful training, the participants of the training received certificates of participation in an international project.
