Easter holidays give Ukrainians kindness, love, hope for peace and happiness in the family. On the eve of these days, the language training department traditionally holds events and meetings with foreign students with the aim of popularizing Ukrainian culture, traditions, values, and forming an intercultural dialogue based on the principles of tolerance, equality, and respect.

Thus, there was an online meeting of the assistant of the department Stanislava Zaitseva with foreign students Zyumrut Alych (Institute of BiEM) and Efe Talan (Faculty of Electronics and Information Technologies).

During the event, foreign youth replenished their vocabulary with new vocabulary: Christian holiday, ancient tradition, color, decorate, etc. and were able to test their knowledge by guessing a puzzle.

Foreigners learned about the main Easter traditions and dishes on the tables of Ukrainians on this day: paska, pysanky and krashanky.

They found out the meaning of the symbols of the Ukrainian Easter egg (sun, rose, flower, rooster, bereginya) and the importance of such colors as red, yellow, green, black, white when creating Easter eggs and eggs.

Joined the discussion of the master class on creating Easter eggs and eggs using different techniques (paints, candles) and learned how to use onions and parsley to create eggs in 10 minutes.

The culmination of the event was the painting of Easter cards online, with the help of educational information technologies.
