May 4 th 2021 foreign students studying at the preparatory department went on an excursion around Sumy streets.

The training was organized within the project "I shout out against bullying" (Erasmus + grant of Germany). The event was held on June 29 with student youth from Ukraine , Morocco, Turkey, Nigeria, Ghana, Ecuador .

Quarantine restrictions force the management of the Free Economic Zone and the scientific and pedagogical staff to react quickly to modern requirements, to look for new forms and methods for conducting classes in an online format.

Scientific work of students is an important factor in the effectiveness of professional  raining of specialists 
with higher education.

The first of March – No discrimination day

February 25  th 2021 in Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University at the Faculty of training of foreign citizens, Chair of Philology and Linguistics was held the International scientific and methodical seminar «Innovative pedagogical technologies in the international students’ languages teaching», devoted to the linguistic, social and linguacultural aspects of teaching Russian, Ukrainian and English languages to the foreign students through the computer technologies and Internet-resources usage.

On January 21, 2021, the report of Faculty of foreign philology and social communications was held online in the presence of the rector of the University. In the practical report of the Faculty dean, associate professor Olena Sushkova, the results of the faculty’s work in scientific, international, grant activities, and academic mobility were analyzed. Heads of departments evaluated the work of the faculty and shared problems, outlined prospects for further development of departments.

International medical students from the MC group.m-007an got acquainted with the Ukrainian new year and Christmas traditions, and also joined the preparation of 12 dishes on Christmas Eve.

An integral part of teaching foreign students the Ukrainian language is familiarization with Ukrainian culture, traditions, folk holidays, beliefs, and rituals.

On December 12, 2020, an online meeting of leading scientists, linguodidactics, teachers of the Department of language training for foreign citizens from Vinnytsia, Bila Tserkva, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhia, Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv and colleagues from Poland was held. The issue of writing a collective monograph on the methodology of teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language was discussed.
